Today

Lacombe Rams (6-1) at West Central Rebels (2-4-1), 4 p.m., Rocky — The Rams are playing the way they were expected to all season with a solid ground game and passing attack. The Rebels have been competitive, but the Rams will want to head into the playoffs on a roll. Pick: Lacombe.

Sylvan Lake Lakers (3-4) at Lindsay Thurber Raiders (3-4), 7 p.m., Great Chief Park — Should be one of the better games of the week. The Raiders have played as well as they have for some time over the last four weeks while the Lakers have consistently improved from the beginning of the season. Just a hunch but pick: LTCHS.

Friday

Wetaskiwin Sabres (0-7) at Notre Dame Cougars (0-7), 7 p.m., Great Chief Park — A battle of the basemen. Both teams are young, so the team with the least mistakes will have the edge. The Cougars do have an outstanding running back in Dale MacDonald, who may be the difference. Pick: Notre Dame.

Camrose Trojans (5-2) at Stettler Wildcats (4-2-1), 4 p.m. — The Trojans should have an advantage here, although they have struggled on the road at times. The Wildcats do have a solid ground game, but that may not be enough. Pick: Camrose.
