Red Deer Servus Credit Union Brave Jonah Penner misses the throw as Foothills Dawg Sam Schierman slides safely into second during bantam AAA baseball action at Great Chief Park Wednesday. Foothills won 10-3. Penner did go two-for-four at the plate with two singles, while Luke Scheunert added a single and a double. Wyle Cunningham started for Red Deer and lasted three innings, giving up four earned runs on five hits and a walk while striking out five. Tyson Ethier gave up five runs, three earned, in 1 2/3 innings on four hits and two walks while Nathan Damiani and Mike Pinkney pitched the rest of the way.
