Red Deer's Eileen Park competed against the top amateur Canadian women golfers and finished inside the top 10.
On Friday the 15-year-old completed her fourth and final round at the 110th Canadian Women's Amateur Championship finishing in ninth place at one under-par.
After shooting a combined five over par after the first two rounds, Park climbed the leaderboard with a six-under-par performance in rounds three and four, including an eight-spot jump on the leaderboard in the final round.
Overall, she shot 287, seven strokes more than America's Turang Li, who shot eight under par to win the Canadian national title.
A month ago Park came out on top in the Alberta Women's Amateur Championship in Calgary and in 2023 won the Canadian Junior Girl's Championship title.
