Red Deer product Luke Madill competed in the recent Canadian Junior Hockey League prospects event at Dauphin, Man. A defenceman with the Drayton Valley Thunder, Madill was one of three AJHL players selected to represent Team West at Dauphin, where Team East won back-to-back games — 2-1 in a shootout and 7-1. Madill assisted on one of the two Team West goals and finished the two-game series with a plus-minus rating of plus-1. The CJHL Prospects Game was created to showcase the top 40 NHL draft eligible players in the CJHL.
