STONY PLAIN– The Lacombe Generals are a win away from another Senior AAA Provincial Hockey title.
Lacombe dispatched the Stony Plain Eagles 7-3 on the road in Game 4 Saturday and lead the best-of-seven series 3-1.

Ian Schultz opened the scoring for the Eagles on a breakaway in the first. Tanner Korchinski tied the game for Lacombe midway through the period before Myles Bell put the visitors out front 2-1.
Despite being outshot 20-7 in the first, the Eagles tied the game at two late in the frame.
Bell notched his second of the game under two minutes into the second and Jesse Todd extended the advantage midway through the period.
The Generals burst ahead with a trio of goals to close out the game in the third. Brett Robertson, Collin Valcourt, and Teegan Moore scored in the third period for Lacombe.
Game 5 goes on March 23 in Lacombe with puck drop set for 8 p.m.
