Hailey Jackson ASDC-Central Athlete of the Month

For her performance on the ice this season, Delburne native Hailey Jackson was selected as the Alberta Sport Development Centre- Central Athlete of the Month for January.

For her performance on the ice this season, Delburne native Hailey Jackson was selected as the Alberta Sport Development Centre- Central Athlete of the Month for January.

The 14-year-old forward, who plays for the Red Deer Bantam Elite Sutter Fund Chiefs, leads the team in both goals (14) and points (19). She was also one of eight players from the team to be selected to represent at the Alberta Winter Games in Airdrie next weekend.

Jackson is an honours with distinction student at St. Francis of Assisi Middle School and also competes in track and field for the Red Deer Titans Track Club as a pentathlete, as well as in the 100 metres.
