Hunting Hills senior girls still unbeaten

The Hunting Hills senior girls stayed undefeated in high school basketball play Tuesday, downing the Camrose Trojans 67-46. Leah Hagel was the leading scorer for the Lightning with 21 points, while teammate Jessie Hanley chipped in 11 points. Taylor Schultz lead the way for Camrose with 14 points, while Abby Fowler chipped in eight points.

In senior boys action, the Notre Dame Cougars ran into another hot three-point shooting team and lost 75-62 to the H.J. Cody Lakers.

For the Cougars, Jeb Maribojoc and Vincent Martin led the way with 18 and 16 points respectively. Issac Colosimo also had a big night for Notre Dame, dropping a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Lakers were guided by the hot hand of MacGregor Manyluk, who put home six three-pointers down the stretch and finished the game with 23 points. Liam Pafford added 17 points and Logan Roberts contributed 15.
