Montreal Alouettes general manager Kavis Reed is open to dealing the first overall selection in the 2018 CFL draft.

Montreal currently holds the No. 1 pick for Thursday’s draft, but Reed says he’s received inquiries from other clubs about the selection.

Reed added the Alouettes have narrowed down their potential choices to five prospects, including UConn offensive lineman Trey Rutherford and Central Michigan receiver Mark Chapman.

However, Reed said he’d entertain any offer he felt would improve the Alouettes.

Montreal secured the first overall pick after posting a league-worst 3-15 record last season.
