Nominations open for Lifetime Sport Achievement Award

Alberta Sport Development Centre- Central is now accepting nominations for Lifetime Sports Achievement Award.

The Lifetime Sport Achievement Award, sponsored by the City of Red Deer, honours, “an outstanding sportsperson who has made a significant contribution towards the development and operation of amateur sport in Red Deer.”

Some of the criteria include a genuine interest in the overall growth as well as distinctly enhanced or developed amateur sports in Red Deer. They must have a minimum of five years of community service and involvement in Red Deer amateur sports.

Shawna Pearman, Lynn Radford and Dwayne Lalor were all recent recipients of the Lifetime Sport Achievement Award.

Nominations are due by April 15 and can be submitted www.asdccentral.ca/red-deer-sports-awards.
