The nine 13U AAA baseball teams in pursuit of a national tournament berth have arrived in Red Deer.

The nine 13U AAA baseball teams in pursuit of a national tournament berth have arrived in Red Deer.

The NEZ Padres earned a win to start the day, beating the Calgary Dinos 9-4. The St. Albert Cardinals also started with a win, knocking off the Fort McMurray Oil Giants 20-0.

Red Deer starts their tournament on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. against the Sherwood Park Athletics.
