Rocky Mountain House Rebels (1-1) at Camrose Trojans (0-1), 4:30 p.m. — The Rebels have taken a step forward in their development, but have to show they can win on the road. Pick Camrose.

Hunting Hills Lightning (2-0) at Wetaskiwin Sabres (1-1), 7:30 — The Lightning have one of the best running backs in the league in Stas McPhail and the Sabres will need to find a way to stop him if they hope to win. Pick: Hunting Hills.

Notre Dame Cougars (1-0) at Sylvan Lake Lakers (1-1), 4:30 p.m. — Could be the best game of the day. The Lakers didn’t start well against Lacombe, but appeared to pick it up in a win over Wetaskiwin while the Cougars rolled against the Rebels. Pick: Notre Dame.

Stettler Wildcats (0-2) at Lindsay Thurber Raiders (0-2), 7:30 p.m. — Tough game to pick. Stettler hasn’t looked good in either start while the Raiders need to find some consistency on offence. Just a feeling. Pick: LTCHS.

2009 record: four right, four wrong .500

2008 record: 27 right, nine wrong .750

39-year record: 800 right, 243 wrong .768
