Red Deer’s Blarney Stone won the Division A title with a 64-53 win over LCOG, made up of former Lakeland College players. Blarney Stone, Carstar of Red Deer and LCOG all finished with 2-1 records in the division, but Carstar was eliminated because of more points allowed. Blarney Stone beat Drumheller 86-50, and LCOG 91-77 and lost 85-70 to Carstar while LCOG beat Carstar 82-72 and Drumheller 79-63. Carstar downed Drumheller 118-85. Well’s Furniture of Red Deer defeated the Edmonton Haks 66-63 in the C Division final after earlier beating the Edmonton Hawks 69-60 and Kinsella 81-77.
