Queens shutout by Griffins

The MacEwan University Griffins scored the only goal of the contest as they earned a 1-0 shutout over the RDC Queens at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre Friday.

The MacEwan University Griffins scored the only goal of the contest as they earned a 1-0 shutout over the RDC Queens at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre Friday.

RDC got six shots on the Griffins Natalie Bender and she stopped them all on the way to the win.

Karlee Fetch made 17 saves for the Queens in the loss.

It was the first loss of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference season for the Queens, who are now at 4-1 for the year.
