Queens undefeated at Fall Invitational

The RDC Queens rolled in their Fall Volleyball Invitational.

Despite the Queens being split into a pair of squads for the annual tournament, they each picked up a pair of wins Saturday.

One group knocked off the Providence University College in three sets and the NAIT Ooks in four (25-21, 25-19, 20-25, 25-19).

The other team beat the GPRC Wolves in four sets (25-16, 20-25, 25-22, 25-23) and The King’s University Eagles in four (21-16, 25-14, 20-25, 25-20).

The Kings swept the Providence University Pilots (25-18, 25-16, 25-19) and lost in five to the SAIT Trojans. (22-25, 16-25, 25-17, 25-18, 15-9).

The Queens will travel to Lakeland next week for another tournament before they open the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference at Briercrest College on Oct. 18 and 19.
