Rampage improve to 2-1 at RMLL provincials

The Red Deer Rampage got the job done Saturday afternoon at the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League Junior B Tier I Championships.

After falling behind 3-0 in the first period, Red Deer roared back and picked up a 10-8 win over the Fort Saskatchewan Rebels.

With the win, the Rampage improved to 2-1 at provincials and will look to book a spot in the gold medal game tonight at 9 p.m.

Elijah Johanson buried a pair of goals in the second period while Ben Arifin, James Wood and Ethan McMullen all each added a goal.

Jayden Reschny scored twice in the third, and both Sheridan Cook and Jeremy Klessens added tallies in the final frame.

The Calgary Shamrocks are 3-0 at provincials so far and have already earned a spot in the gold medal game.
