RDC Queens curling fall in opening game at nationals

The RDC Queens had a tough start to the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Curling Championships.

The RDC Queens had a tough start to the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Curling Championships.

In the opening draw, the Queens struggled and fell 8-5 to the Concordia University of Edmonton Thunder.

After scoring in the opening end, RDC allowed the Thunder to score in each of the next three ends. By the seventh end, the Queens were down 7-2. RDC managed to score three in the fourth end but conceded one in the ninth end in the loss.

RDC will play next in draw 3 Thursday morning.
