The RDC Queens picked up a gold medal Sunday at the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference Curling Championships in Camrose.
The Queens, who are the defending national champions earned the provincial title with a 6-2 victory over the MacEwan University Griffins.

Both RDC and the Griffins will play at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association national curling championships from March 24-28 in Leduc.

The RDC Kings were silver medalists at the provincial championships after an 8-5 loss to Concordia University of Edmonton.
RDC will have a chance for redemption next month as both teams will play in the CCAA Curling Championships in Leduc.
The RDC Mixed Curling team lost a tight 7-6 game to the NAIT Ooks in the bronze medal game.
