RDC still struggling at golf nationals

The RDC teams find themselves well back heading into the third and final day of the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association golf championship at the Dunes.

KAMLOOPS, B.C. — The RDC teams find themselves well back heading into the third and final day of the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association golf championship at the Dunes.

The Kings sit 18th in the men’s division with a 630 total, well behind Humber College of Etobicoke, Ont., who has a 568 total. The University of Fraser Valley of Abbotsford is second at 590.

The RDC Queens are eighth overall with a 396 total while Durham College of Oshawa leads at 315, with UBC Okanagan of Kelowna at 328 and Lethbridge College at 352.

Jordie Weich led the RDC men’s team with an 83-87—160 total while Ben Stang sits at 85-77—162, Jonathan Laniel at 87-79—166, JD Morrical at 85-81—166, Landon Schmidt at 81-90—171 and Aaron Dyck at 88-87—175.

David Lang of Humber College leads the way with a 136 total.

Caitlin Kelliher led the RDC women with a 91-88—179 total while Melissa Koster sits at 110-107—217.

Josee Doyon of Quebec is first at 148.
