The Red Deer Rebels acquired another forward to fit into their expanding crop of 17-year-olds.

Shortly before puck drop against the Saskatoon Blades Tuesday, Red Deer announced they picked up Cohner Saleski from the Prince Albert Raiders, in exchange for a sixth round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.

The five-foot-nine, 170-pound, Saskatoon, Sask. native played four games with the Raiders last year, recording one assist. He spent most of last season with the Prince Albert Mintos of the Saskatchewan Midget Hockey League and notched nine goals and 19 assists in 24 games.

Saleski played in two preseason games with Prince Albert this year and had two shots while winning four faceoffs.
