In the second period, the Rebels built on their lead with a tally from Frantisek Formanek and a powerplay goal from Carson Birnie.

With a 4-1 lead in the third period, the Tigers scored three straight from Hayden Harsanyi, Gavin McKenna, and Andrew Basha to send it to the extra frame.

In overtime, defenceman Bogdans Hodass scored with 19 seconds to go to lift the Tigers to victory.

Rebels goaltender Chase Wutzke made 39 saves on 44 shots and Tigers netminder Zach Zahara made 18 saves.

The Rebels will now look to get back on track against the Calgary Hitmen on Tuesday at the Peavey Mart Centrium at 7 p.m.
