Rebels deal 20-year-old forward Brett Davis to Lethbridge Hurricanes

The Red Deer Rebels got younger ahead of Friday’s WHL trade deadline.

The team announced Monday, they had dealt 20-year-old forward Brett Davis to the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft.

That move leaves the Rebels with two overage players, forward Cam Hausinger and defenceman Ethan Sakowich.

In 78 games with Red Deer, Davis, the Oakbank, Man., native recorded 22 goals and 55 points.

The WHL trade deadline is Jan. 10.
