Rebels defenceman Alex Alexeyev wins bronze with Russia at world juniors

Alex Alexeyev will return from Vancouver with some hardware.

Alex Alexeyev will return from Vancouver with some hardware.

The 19-year-old defenceman helped Russia to a 5-2 victory over Switzerland and earned bronze at the World Junior Hockey Championships.

In six tournament games, Alexeyev had two goals and four assists.
