The Red Deer Rebels traded 19-year-old Keaton Sorensen to the Prince Albert Raiders Thursday.

The Red Deer native was moved to the Raiders in exchange for a conditional ninth-round pick in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft.

Sorensen recorded seven goals and seven assists in his rookie campaign for the Rebels in 2019-20. Last season, he posted just two assists in 23 games.

The Rebels signed Sorensen during the 2017-18 season in which he scored 20 goals and collected 36 points in 43 games with the midget Argos at Notre Dame College in Saskatchewan as a 15-year-old.
