Red Deer Curling Centre hosts first annual men’s bonspiel

The Red Deer Curling Centre wrapped up its first annual men’s bonspiel at the Pidherney Centre last week.

The event ran from Nov. 4-6 and had 24 teams from across Alberta compete including some from Rocky Mountain House, Canmore, and Sherwood Park.

The event A winners were Matt Heikkinen, Corey Van Engelen, Chris Heikkinen, and Wayne Heikkinen. Event B was captured by Lane Ferguson, Wilson Lougheed, Steve Matejka, and Fred Armstrong. Followed by the event C winners of Jack Lain, Gary Moore, Rodney Ouellette, and Guy Aglot.
