Saturday, the club has invited the public to be part of World Fencing Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame.

The theme this year is “Fencing for our Planet”. Athletes, coaches, fencing clubs and federations worldwide will be showing off the sport of fencing, and commitment to sport for the betterment of their communities and our shared environment.

On Oct 19 and 20, the club will host their annual Octoberfence. They will also send a team to Alberta Winter Games and will be hosting the Alberta Fencing Provincials in May 2020. Some members of the club are also trying to qualify for the Canadian National Championships at the University of Alberta in May of 2020.
