Red Deer golfers place second at interclub

The Red Deer Golf and Country Club four-man contingent placed second in the Alberta Golf Association interclub championship on Monday.

KANANASKIS — The Red Deer Golf and Country Club four-man contingent placed second in the Alberta Golf Association interclub championship on Monday.

The RDG&CC crew, consisting of Tom Skinner, J.D. Morrical, Ross Andras and Dan Soley, finished at 7-over 223, two strokes behind the team representing Calgary Country Hills.

The Olds Highlands team, consisting of Keith Newton, Tim Hollman, Wade Thurber and Robert Weseen, tied for fifth at 225, and was runner-up to Calgary Willow Park in the net category at even-par.

Willow Park was 1-under.
