Red Deer Minor Football is set to once again celebrate the game this weekend.

Throughout the day from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday at Great Chief Park, young football fans will not only get a chance to experience the game first hand but also enjoy a full day celebration.

Atom players will hit the field in the morning, with peewee players on the turf at Setters Place at noon. There will be flag football from 12:50-1:10 p.m. and a bantam game between Hunting Hills and Lindsay Thurber at 2 p.m.

At 5:30, the Notre Dame Cougars varsity team will take on Robert Thirsk out of Calgary.

There will also be quidditch, tailgate games, skills and drills and a barbecue.

To round out the day, there will be a showing of Remember the Titans at 8:15 p.m.
