Red Deer MMA fighter picks up first pro win

Red Deer’s Jett Grande has officially entered the win column in his professional MMA career.

Grande defeated Cornelius Krahn at Unified MMA 41 at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Enoch this past Friday.

The Red Deer product won by KO/TKO at 4:30 in Round 2. This was Grande’s first fight in Alberta in more than two years – his professional record is now 1-0-1.

In his first professional fight at Xtreme Fighting Championships YoungGuns 3 this past August, Grande fought American Damon Morosko to a majority draw.

Prior to his professional debut, Grande has an illustrious amateur career, winning 15 of 16 MMA bouts around the world – his resumé includes a world championship, Pan American Title and national championship.
