The Red Deer Optimist Chiefs picked up all four points in Alberta Midget AAA Hockey League action.

Saturday, Red Deer knocked off the Knights of Columbus Pats 4-2 and Sunday at home, they beat the Okotoks Oilers 5-2.

In Saturday’s triumph, Silas Buijs buried two power play goals, Kaleb Kemp notched the game-winner and Ty Daneault added a second-period tally. Optimist Chiefs goalie Logan Breen made 36 saves in the win and Tyler Mackenzie had two assists.

Sunday, Buijs added another pair of goals and also an assist, while Daneault, Kremp and Ben Christian also scored. Jayden Henderson, Foxx Doell and Cash Regan all had two assists.

Colby Knight made 24 saves in the victory.
