Red Deer Polytechnic Kings and Queens Cross Country Running won the combined team trophy at Running Room Grand Prix #2 Saturday at the University of Alberta’s Augustana campus.
The trophy considers the top three times from each squad. As separate teams, the Kings finished second and the Queens sealed third.
Red Deer’s Devin Saunders (29:52) led the way for the Kings over eight kilometres, finishing sixth among Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference male runners.

Queens Soccer continued its winning ways Saturday. RDP improved to 3-1 on the season after topping the University of Alberta Augustana Vikings 8-1.
