The Red Deer Rebels are back for another season of WHL hockey.
The team announced Monday that training camp will get underway Aug. 31, with off-ice fitness testing before on-ice training starts Sept. 1.
Friday will feature two ice times, with 3 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. start times respectively.
Saturday and Sunday the players will be on the ice throughout the day starting at 8:00 a.m., with a main camp scrimmage at 5 p.m.
Two practices will be held on Monday, followed by a rookie scrimmage at 11 a.m. and a main scrimmage at 4 p.m.
Training camp rosters are expected to be released later this week.
2023 training camp wraps up on Sept. 5 with the annual Black and White game at 7 p.m. at the Peavey Mart Centrium. A donation to the Red Deer Food Bank will serve as admission for the contest.
