The Red Deer Rebels announced on Wednesday they’ve signed forward Steven Steranka to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

The 15-year-old from Regina was taken in round seven, 148th overall by the Rebels in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft.

The left-shooting winger posted 29 points in 43 games with the Regina Pat Canadians U18 AAA during the 2022-23 season.

Steranka will hit the ice for the Rebels in preseason play this weekend.
