Red Deer Renegades eliminated from playoffs

Crude fell in a best of three series in round one

The Red Deer Renegades have been eliminated from the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League (RMLL) Jr. B Tier II playoffs.

Over the weekend, the Renegades dropped two straight games to the St. Albert Crude in the best-of-three first-round series.

They dropped Game 1 to the Crude 14-5 at GH Dawe Community Centre on Saturday afternoon followed by an 11-7 setback on Sunday to end their season.

The Crude will now face the second-seeded Lloydminster Xtreme who received a bye to the second round with a trip to provincials in their hometown on the line.
