The Red Deer Vipers are on an epic roll.

Red Deer knocked off the Lomond Lakers 7-4 Sunday afternoon, the 11th straight Heritage Junior B Hockey League win for the club.

Matias Letwin, Elijah Johanson, Jacksyn Goodall, Justin Paarup, Jace Paarup, Austin Gallant all scored for Red Deer in the win and Goodall also added an empty-net goal.

Red Deer improved to 20-9 on the year and sit second in the north division.

The Vipers also scored a big win Saturday, their 10th win in a row, knocking off the Okotoks Bisons 5-3. The Bisons came into the contest with a 27-2 record on the year.

The Bisons jumped ahead 2-0 in the first period. In the second, Goodall and Jace Paarup buried five minutes apart to tie the game at two.

Tyler Alger scored on the power play early in the third, but Rylan Burns scored 2:07 later to tie the game again.

At 10:30 of the third, Tanner Scott when high glove on Bisons goalie Devin Reagan for the game-winning goal. Keaton Sawicki added an empty-net goal.

Dawson Weatherill made 40 saves to earn the victory, while Austin Gallant had a pair of assists.

Red Deer will host the Coaldale Copperheads on Jan. 18 at Servus Arena.
