Red Deer’s Eileen Park to compete for Alberta Ladies Amateur Championship heading into final day

Park moved up 10 spots on the leaderboard

After day two of the Alberta Ladies Amateur Championship, Red Deer Golf and Country Club’s Eileen Park has shot up the tournament leaderboard.

Park, who shot five-over-par the first day at the Canmore Golf and Country Club, shot two-under par on the second day to position herself tied for second place at three-over par.

She jumped 10 spots to finish the day Wednesday putting herself in a great position to compete for the championship on Thursday. Standing in her way is B.C.’s Shirin Anjarwalla who is also in second place at three-over par and Point Grey Golf and Country Club’s Ling Yu Hao who is in first place and has a nice lead at two-under par.
