The Red Deer Renegades U12 Tier I girls’ soccer team won gold in the Penticton tournament during the weekend.
The Renegades beat the Kamloops Blaze U13 squad 3-1 in the final.
In round-robin play the Renegades tied the Vancouver Nitro U13 team 3-3, beat the Sherwood Park Phoenix 6-0 and the Blaze 3-2.
