After the first day of the 2023 Canadian Men’s Senior AAA National Baseball Championships in Red Deer on Thursday, multiple teams got out to impressive starts.
In the first game of the day at Great Chief Park, the Regina Trappers (Team Saskatchewan) beat the Saint John Alpines (Team New Brunswick) 3-1.
In a matchup between Team Quebec and the Kentville Wildcats (Team Nova Scotia), Quebec came out on top 7-1.
Next up was Team Manitoba who beat the Sherwood Park Athletics (Team Alberta) 6-3.
This was followed up by Team Quebec who blew out the CBS Raiders (Newfoundland and Labrador) 13-3.
Also, the Saint John Alpines took down the Burnaby Bulldogs (Team BC) 3-0 before the final matchup of the day.
