The Red Deer Riggers will open camp for their 29th season Friday at 6 p.m. at Great Chief Park.
The Sunburst Baseball League squad, coached by Curtis Bailey, will also hold an open tryout Sunday at 6 p.m. at Great Chief. The camp is open to all players interested in playing with the senior A squad.
The SBL season opens in the middle of May and runs through to August.
