VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks are set to have goalie Roberto Luongo back.

Luongo is returning to the NHL club’s lineup for its game against the St. Louis Blues after missing two weeks with a broken rib.

The Canucks expect Luongo to back up Andrew Raycroft on Tuesday night against the Blues. The Canucks sent goalie Cory Schneider to Manitoba of the AHL earlier Tuesday. Luongo could make his first start since the injury Thursday in Detroit.

Luongo was injured Oct. 24 against Toronto. He finished the game and posted a shutout against Edmonton the following night before pain in his ribcage flared up during a loss to Detroit on Oct. 27.

The Canucks are 4-1-0 during Luongo’s absence.
