Alexa Donaghy, 15, of Sylvan Lake’s H.J. Cody School competes in the junior girls long jump during the high school area track meet at the Royal Canadian Legion #35 track Wednesday. Eight Central Alberta schools sent 220 athletes to compete in 26 events plus relays at the junior, intermediate and senior levels. The winners will compete again at the zone level at the same location next to at Lindsay Thurber High School next Wednesday.
