After going down 3-0 by the third inning the Gulls answered scoring a run in the fifth and seventh inning to come within one of tying the game.

In the fifth inning, the Gulls cashed in a run with players on second and third base. Second baseman Jonah Weisner knocked in a run but was tagged out in the process.

In the seventh inning, after stealing second base and advancing to third on an error right fielder Kaden Zarowny scored a run after another error.

In the bottom of the ninth inning with Zarowny and centre fielder Shea Bowen on first and second base, shortstop Chase Rodriguez had a chance to potentially tie the game but went down swinging for the final out of the game.

Gulls starting pitcher Carson Angeroth allowed three hits and three runs scored on five innings of work. Jared Arnold came in relief in the sixth inning striking out one and no runs in one inning. Closer Brock James pitched the final three innings striking out three batters.
