The Sylvan Lake Wranglers secured a spot in the north division final after they defeated the Rocky Mountain House Rams Friday night.

On their home ice, the Wranglers won game six of a seven-game series in the Heritage Junior B Hockey League (HJHL) semi-finals 4-2.

Zachary Daniels, Ryan Wyzykoski, Tate Causey, and Payton Wright all scored for the Wranglers. Meanwhile, goaltender Kaden Toussaint was solid in net making 33 saves in the effort.

The number one-seeded Wranglers will take on the number two-ranked Airdrie Thunder beginning on Wednesday, March 8 at 8 p.m. for game one of a seven-game series. If the Wranglers win the series they’ll advance to the HJHL league final.
