Team Alberta U16 male, U18 female squads set for Christmas Camp in Red Deer

Both teams will compete in the 2019 Canada Winter Games

Alberta’s hockey teams are already gearing up for the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer.

Team Alberta U16 male and U18 female squads will get together for Christmas Camp this week. The camp will offer a sneak peek at both teams through exhibition games at the Enmax Centrium.

The U16 male team plays the Red Deer Midget AAA Optimist Chiefs on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and the St. Albert AAA Raiders on Friday at 2 p.m.

The U18 female team plays the Red Deer Bantam Rebels on Thursday at 7 p.m. and the Leduc Bantam AAA Oil Kings on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

All games are open to the public and free, but attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Red Deer Food Bank Society or a cash donation for the Hockey Alberta Foundation.
