Todd Bertuzzi is rejoining the Detroit Red Wings.

DETROIT — Todd Bertuzzi is rejoining the Detroit Red Wings.

The free-agent forward has agreed to a one-year deal with the Red Wings, a team he briefly played for at the end of the 2006-’07 season.

Bertuzzi spent last year with the Calgary Flames, putting up 44 points (15-29) in 66 regular-season games.

The 34-year-old has played 859 career games for the New York Islanders, Vancouver, Florida, Anaheim, Calgary and Detroit. He has 255 goals and 624 points.
