Klaudt’s foursome, consisting also of third Vina Lawrence beat Sheila Maday 9-7. Meanwhile, Tracy Thibeault downed Laurie Duncan 7-5 in the B final, Marg Grahn knocked off Kathy Sturgess 10-4 to take C-event honours and the D-event crown went to Alma Clark’s rink, a 6-1 winner over Lorraine Whelan. The Town and Country ‘spiel replaced the Farmerettes Bonspiel this year. The event is expected to come back with its original title in 2011.
