U16 Tier II Boys

The Red Deer Renegades downed the Sherwood Park Phoenix 5-1 in Edmonton indoor soccer league action during the weekend.

Josh Simons, Sam Day, Ethan Brown, Nathen Narong and Chandler Harder scored for the Renegades. Joel Richards and Harley MacKnight shared goaltending duties.

U14 Tier II Girls

The Red Deer Renegades downed the St. Albert Impact 6-2 in Edmonton indoor league play Sunday.

Cailin teStroete and Tara Sudlow had two goals each with Nicole Friedl and Andria Gauthier adding singles.

Rebels Black split

The Red Deer Rebels Black split a pair of Alberta Bantam AAA Hockey League games during the weekend, beating Okotoks 8-3 Saturday and losing 3-2 to Medicine Hat Sunday.

Dustin Gorgi had three goals against Okotoks with Logan Fisher and Scott Ferguson adding two each and Spencer Scott one. Matt Zentner stopped 25 shots.

On Sunday, Ferguson and Scott scored once each for the Rebels while Gorgi had a pair of helpers. Zentner finished with 31 saves.
