U17 Kings volleyball club wins silver in Edmonton

The U17 Central Alberta Kings volleyball club finished second in division two last weekend

The U17 Central Alberta Kings volleyball club finished second in division two last weekend at the Saville Centre in Edmonton.

The Kings went 3-0 in their round robin matches on Saturday beating the Canucks Black U18, the Smokin’ Aces U18 and Canada West U17, all teams from Calgary.

They beat the Nooks U18 in the Crossover game Saturday night and continued added another win against EKVC Invermere Avalanche U17 in the quarter final Sunday.

They faced Canada West U17 again in the semifinal and beat them in straight sets.

The Kings faced the Smokin’ Aces again in the final, but came up short losing in three sets and having to settle for silver.
