Vipers win series with Mountainview

The Red Deer Vipers are moving on in the Heritage Junior B Hockey League playoffs.

The Red Deer Vipers are moving on in the Heritage Junior B Hockey League playoffs.

Red Deer topped the Mountainview Colts 6-1 on home ice Friday night to pick up the 3-1 victory in the best-of-five series.

Logan Linnell and Mack Differenz each scored two goals along with Lane Sim and Dalton Angeltvedt adding one in the victory.

With the win, the Vipers move on to face the Airdrie Thunder in the HJHL North Division Final next week.
