Eddie Ellis hit 16 points to lead Wells Furniture 49-41 to a win over the Vikings in Central Alberta Senior Men’s Basketball Association play Sunday.
Brook Doan added nine points for the winners while Mark Vos had 14 for the Vikings.
In another Sunday contest, Darren Wright poured in 25 points and Eric Dortman chipped in with 13 as the Warriors of Time downed the Storm 72-46. The Storm got a 14-point performance from each of Les Waite and Darrell Spence.
On Thursday, the Burnt Lake Stables got 17 points from each of Brian Renaud and Aaron Lucas in downing the Red Deer Buccaneers 75-55. Josh Ernst dropped in 23 points and Andre Touchette had 13 for the Bucs.
As well, the Tagish Lakers beat the RDC Royals 101-53 with Thomas Bennett hitting 27 points and David Torwalt scoring 23.
Jeff Anderson had 16 points and Jesse Cameron netted nine in a losing cause.
