The Red Deer North Star Chiefs scored three unanswered third-period goals to tie the Calgary Rangers 7-7 in Calgary Sunday.
Kyle Messervey connected while shorthanded at 7:37 with Jack Goranson scoring at 17:06 and Spencer Scott at 17:37, both on the power play, to even the count.
Scott and Logan Fisher had two goals each for the Chiefs with Tom Vanderlinde adding a single marker. Anthony Hamill made 32 saves in goal.
Major Bantam
The Red Deer Rebels Black battled Okotoks to a 5-5 tie on the road Sunday.
Trey deGraaf, Colton Levie, Andrew Perry, Dylan Fontaine and Dylan Houston, who scored with 12 seconds remaining in the game, scored for the Rebels. Joey Derosiers finished with 20 saves.

The Red Deer Steel Kings dropped a 4-3 decision to the Okotoks Oilers in AA league play at the Kinex Sunday.
Logan Linnell, Mark Griffith and Jackson Osborne scored for the Chiefs. Cole Sears made 33 saves.
Peewee
Josh Bussard scored twice to lead the Red Deer TBS Chiefs to a 5-1 win over the homestanding Airdrie Lightning in AA play Sunday.
Parker Smyth, Brady Park and Kyle Gibson added single goals while netminder Klayton Sandquist faced 26 shots.
• In other AA play the Red Deer Parkland Chiefs lost 3-2 to the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
Brenan Frame and Tyler Wall scored for the Chiefs.
